Unix has been around a lot longer than Microsoft Windows and many companies use it in one form or another on their critical infrastructure servers. These systems are very reliable but they do need someone to look after them and keep them running smoothly. At ITSP we have skilled Unix support engineers who will manage and administer the following software implementations:

Unix Support Options

Remote Server Support

Using the internet and remote control software will mange and update your servers for you. The basic support package includes anything to do with the operating system and first level support for standard applications like MySql, Perl and PHP. We also take care of your backups and security.

You can call us between 9am and 5pm and after answering your call immediately we guarantee to assign an engineer to the task within 4 hours. In most cases the engineer will start to work on your issue immediately.

If necessary an engineer can come to you site to work on the hardware. When this is required it will be charged at an agreed rate.

Remote Unix/Linux Server support - £70 per month

Onsite Support

We also offer onsite Unix/Linux support. This agreement gives total peace of mind that your unix systems are monitored and managed comprehensively. Problems will be diagnosed over the phone and remotely and if they cant be dealt with an engineer will make a site visit within 4 hours.

Onsite Unix/Linux Server Support - £140 per month

Pay As You Go Support

When an annual agreement is not suitable we offer Pay as You Go support. With this service you get the same high level of technical help but you have to take pot luck with the reponse times. In most cases you will get help within a few hours but in busy times our annual support customers will come first. If you can live with some delay then this is the service for you.

Consultany and Project Work

We often get asked by our clients to assist them in setting up a specific application on the Unix/Linux platform. Although this is outside any support agreement we are always happy to get involved in this type of work. We are experienced with Commercial software, bespoke applications and Open Source products including:
