Mobile Sales Team

In a manufacturing company the sales team has 5 mobile salespeople and two admin staff. The salespeople need up to date information when they are onsite with customers and they need to be able to receive emails and update documents in the evening in their hotels or at home. They could use the traditional router of laptop plus vpn but this does have its drawbacks.

A more practical way of working is to use Hosted Desktop. Each of the staff has Hosted Desktop and they all have access to company email and a shared storage area. So no matter where they are, as long as they have an internet connection and a computer to work on (laptop, customer PC, Internet Cafe PC) they can work as if they were sat in the office.
